Alright, i've just updated Joomla to the last stable version. Why?
Because it's needed! Joomla is a nice tool on the CMS-scene, but it contains some bugs/security-holes that's fixed/closed every new update.
At work, we have a lot of customers who uses Joomla, but after a release of a new patch/version, they don't update it. Reason: not enough time, my webdesigner builds this website, don't know how to update etc.
Because of not updating the website, there are websites which are hacked; this means the configuration (and sometimes the template and existing data) is changed by an invidual (almost people from Turkey, Marocco etc).
So, if you want to update your Joomla-installation, and you don't know how to do it, and noone can (or will) help you, you can contact me. I can help you with updating the Joomla-installation to the last stable version.
